This concert marks officially the summer tourism season in Kotor and it is a gift offered by the city of Kotor on the occasion of celebrating 10 years since Montenegro renewed its statehood. The entrance to the event is free. It is only the beginning of many activities during the upcoming summer in Kotor which was selected last fall as the number 1 city to visit in 2016 by the Lonely Planet.

This concert represents the continuation of the five year long commitment to the SeaRock festival project which has established itself as the international brand of Kotor and elevated the destination among the important concert venues, which is yet another recognition of this medieval town.

Wilco is the band founded in Chicago in 1994 after the break of the Uncle Tupelo band which made a huge impact on the future Alt-Country and Americana music stage. Over the years the band members changed and besides Jeff Tweedy - the frontman, writer and guitarist of the band, John Stirratt, the bass guitar player is another old-member. Wilc is recognized as one of the best live performing bands, known by the creative and inspirational gigs.
