This is not an ordinary festival. Besides dancing, competing and socializing with dancers from all around the world, you will have a pleasure of visiting one of the most beautiful countries in the world and experience worldwide famous Mediterranean hospitality and Mediterranean way of living at its best.

You will experience what it feels like to be on the streets of ancient city that is famous for its festivals all year around; festive atmosphere on its streets lasts 24 hours a day; it has been going on for hundreds of years. After all Kotor is the city that is protected by UNESCO, because of its unique mixture of different cultures and city of Tivat is very beautiful, typical Mediterranean city. To be part of dance festival in such unique place is a once in life time experience.

Concept of Montenegro Dance Festival is to unite all the people, regardless of their social and cultural backgrounds. The aim is to unite people and their differences. Because of that, there will be plenty of socializing and interactions among all the participants. This is the opportunity to show and share your heritage and to learn about other cultures. 

Any dance school (government founded or private, professional or amateur), or dance group or any other dance institution could enter Montenegro Dance Festival. There is no age limitation or any other kind of restrictions.  You will have excellent opportunity to show your unique dance skills and the culture and tradition of the country you are coming from. 

Participants will compete and show their skills in different kind of dances: ballet or classic dance, hip-hop, folk or traditional dance, Latino music, Jazz ballet, ballroom dancing, contemporary dance, tap dance, dance theatre and all other forms of dancing performances. Besides dancing, judges will look into choreographies and costumes. Awards will be presented too. 

Every night of the festival there will be parties on the main city square for all the participants, their guests and locals. Also, you will take a part in sightseeing excursions. This is your chance to see why Montenegro is considered to be the most beautiful Mediterranean country. Crystal clear sea, beautiful miles long sandy beaches, old cities founded by ancient Greeks and Romans, all this will leave you breathless.  Besides being part of a great dance festival, you will also have the best holiday you could imagine.
